Disposition Applicants

Overview

This document outlines the steps required to manually disposition an applicant M-Pathways Human Resource Management System (HRMS) - Recruiting.

Important Information

  • For more information on dispositions, see Dispositions – Support Material.
  • Dispositions identify an Applicant’s status on a given job opening throughout the selection process.
  • Dispositions are used for Affirmative Action and other reporting purposes. It is imperative the correct disposition appears for each Applicant prior to creating a job offer on the job opening.
  • Dispositions for an Applicant may change on a job opening several times during the selection process. All dispositions are retained in the system and can be viewed on the Applicant Activity page. Only the Applicant’s current disposition displays on most pages.
  • If you select a disposition that is out of order or sequence according to the system (e.g., from Interview to Applied) the system gives you a warning message. You can click past it if applicable.
  • The Ready and Hired dispositions are updated automatically by the system and should not be set manually.
  • For additional details on setting Applicant dispositions and user guidelines, see Setting Applicant Dispositions – User Guidelines.
  • For a chart displaying actions taken in eRecruit and the resulting dispositions, see Status/Disposition Chart.
